- • As a Freelance Video Editor at Shook Digital, you will transform raw creator footage into high-performing UGC ads designed to stop scrolls and drive engagement on platforms like TikTok.
- • Your day-to-day work involves editing raw footage into script-accurate, platform-native ads, iterating based on performance data, and rapidly testing variations to optimize results.
- • You will remix winning assets by combining hooks, bodies, and CTAs from different ads to build a modular library that fuels continuous testing and scaling.
- • You’ll leverage AI tools for localization, dubbing, and lip-sync workflows to scale content across languages and stay at the forefront of emerging video production techniques.
- • Shook Digital operates as the performance-focused arm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP, specializing in data-driven UGC advertising that outperforms traditional studio content through agile, iterative creative processes.
- • In this role, you’ll sharpen your ability to marry creative intuition with performance analytics, master AI-assisted editing pipelines, and become a key contributor to a fast-moving testing engine that drives real-world ad performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • TikTok-native editing instincts with the ability to identify strong hooks in the first 2 seconds of raw footage and build narratives toward them.
- • Proven speed and efficiency in delivering multiple edit iterations quickly without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
- • Hands-on experience with AI audio and video tools such as ElevenLabs for dubbing, voice-over, and lip-sync applications.
- • Understanding of modular video structure (hook/body/CTA) and ability to edit to component levels for rapid recombination and testing.
- • Autonomous work ethic — ability to interpret briefs, ask clarifying questions early, and deliver polished edits independently.
