📋 Description
- • Design and build modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript to power the checkout, payment, and policy renewal platform.
- • Develop customer-facing interfaces for purchasing and renewing insurance, ensuring every journey is fast, reliable, and frictionless.
- • Translate product and UX designs into polished, responsive, and accessible frontend experiences across desktop and mobile.
- • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, payment providers, and backend policy management services to enable seamless transactions.
- • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and conversion rates by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in user flows.
- • Build and maintain complex transactional workflows including pricing calculations, form validation, payment processing, and confirmation steps.
- • Contribute to the design and evolution of reusable component libraries and frontend architecture standards.
- • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- • Continuously improve code quality, performance, and user experience through testing, refactoring, and performance monitoring.
- • Debug and resolve production issues affecting checkout, payments, or policy renewal functionality with urgency and precision.
- • Implement and maintain secure, scalable frontend solutions aligned with web security best practices.
- • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and engineering best practice discussions to uphold high technical standards.
- • Work within a fully remote, globally distributed team to deliver high-impact features that directly influence customer satisfaction and business growth.
- • Anticipate edge cases in multi-step transactional flows and build resilient systems that minimize drop-offs and errors.
- • Balance speed of execution with engineering quality to deliver features that meet both business goals and technical sustainability.
- • Take ownership of features from initial implementation through deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- • Contribute to A/B testing initiatives and conversion optimization efforts to improve purchase and renewal rates.
- • Engage with payment provider integrations such as Stripe or Adyen to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable payment processing.
- • Maintain familiarity with modern frontend tooling including Vite, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest.
- • Support the broader engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship within the distributed team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- • Proven experience building production-grade web applications.
- • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- • Commercial experience with React and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js.
- • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web development.
- • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
