- • Develop and maintain high-performance, data-dense frontend interfaces for sports analytics platforms that visualize billions of rows of real-time ball, player, and skeletal tracking data.
- • Own end-to-end feature development for complex analytics dashboards, interactive charts, and data tables, ensuring smooth loading and responsiveness under heavy data loads.
- • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in TypeScript and React, adhering to team standards for readability, extensibility, and performance optimization.
- • Integrate with RESTful APIs to efficiently fetch and submit complex JSON data structures across reporting ecosystems, optimizing for web performance and latency.
- • Implement and enforce modern responsive web architecture using HTML5 and CSS3 to ensure consistent user experiences across devices and screen sizes.
- • Apply deep knowledge of web performance metrics, browser vitals, and UI optimization techniques to enhance rendering speed and interactivity with large datasets.
- • Design and execute front-end tests using Cypress, adopting a test-driven mentality to ensure reliability and reduce regressions in data-intensive UI components.
- • Manage code releases across multiple environments — Dev, Test, Staging, and Production — with precision and adherence to deployment protocols.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into intuitive, visually accurate, and user-friendly interfaces for leagues, clubs, and internal analysts.
- • Actively contribute to engineering discussions, share best practices in frontend development, and help elevate team-wide standards for code quality and UX.
- • Identify and communicate technical dependencies early in sprint planning to maintain accurate timelines and prevent blockers in feature delivery.
- • Take pride in visual layout and user experience, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and consistency across all data visualization components.
- • Use JIRA to track, estimate, and manage sprint tasks, tickets, and deliverables with autonomy and accountability.
- • Continuously refine expertise in modern frontend technologies, particularly in optimizing data visualization performance and handling real-time streaming datasets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong, independent competency in TypeScript and React
- • Proven experience with Cypress for front-end testing and test-driven development
- • Deep understanding of web performance optimization when handling large data sets
- • Proficiency in Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern responsive web architecture
- • Experience with NPM dependency management and GIT for collaborative code workflows
- • Familiarity with JIRA for sprint task tracking and agile project management
