- • As a Frontend Software Engineer on the Firefox Growth team at Mozilla, you will contribute to building a better Internet by improving the privacy-focused Firefox browser used by over 225 million people monthly.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing code, tests, and specifications; building prototypes; analyzing performance problems; synthesizing bug reports into actionable tasks; improving existing features; collaborating on new feature development; ensuring Firefox aligns with web standards; and enhancing data quality for better decision-making.
- • You will join a global, collaborative team of engineers and open-source contributors dedicated to Mozilla’s mission of creating an open, accessible Internet, working remotely from Canada with opportunities for travel and conference participation.
- • This role offers the chance to grow as an engineer by learning new tools and techniques, contributing to a large open-source codebase, mentoring and being mentored, and making a tangible impact on user experience and web developer success.
