- • As a Full Motion Imagery (FMV) Analyst Journeyman at SMX, you will play a critical role in supporting 24/7 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. Your primary focus will be on Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) missions, providing vital intelligence analysis and fusion support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and other operational units. This role operates on a modified Panama schedule, designed to align with and support critical OCONUS operations, demanding a high degree of flexibility and commitment.
- • You will be instrumental in driving operations forward by applying the "Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate (F3EAD)" targeting methodology. This requires a deep understanding of comprehensive regional and point analysis, leveraging advanced geospatial techniques and cutting-edge technology. The daily challenges presented in this role are designed to foster continuous growth in the operational application of these multidisciplinary intelligence practices.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass developing innovative concepts of operations for both processing and analytical initiatives, ensuring that our intelligence capabilities remain at the forefront of the industry. You will engage and communicate effectively with a diverse range of intelligence and operational partners, utilizing your extensive technical expertise and practical operational experience to drive meaningful change and enhance mission effectiveness. Your maturity and experience will be key in navigating complex information environments and influencing strategic decisions.
- • A core function of this role is to perform near real-time observation, analysis, exploitation, and reporting of GEOINT data. This must be conducted in strict accordance with the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 and SOCOM Joint PED standards, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- • You will conduct this critical analysis remotely from CONUS PED locations. While the role is primarily remote, it requires a strong willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as dictated by mission requirements and operational tempo. This adaptability is crucial for maintaining continuous support for ongoing operations.
- • The role involves providing sophisticated fusion of new and groundbreaking intelligence disciplines into comprehensive assessments. This is achieved by incorporating a wide array of data, including historical FMV data, optical and non-optical imagery, satellite imagery, radar, and other intelligence sources. This fusion process is essential for enriching intelligence products and providing a more holistic understanding of the operational landscape.
- • You will be responsible for performing peer-to-peer Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of all outputs and deliverables. This critical step ensures the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards of all intelligence products before they are submitted, maintaining the integrity of the intelligence cycle.
- • Active participation in meetings, video teleconferences, working groups, forums, and technical exchanges is expected. These engagements are vital for discussing mission-related tasks, evaluating existing technology, and exploring new and emerging capabilities that can enhance our ability to conduct effective PED missions.
- • Consistently delivering high-quality outputs is paramount for all Screener, Reviewer, and production functions. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of operational planning and execution.
- • Maintaining a thorough understanding of ISR collection techniques, sensor and platform capabilities, and best practices utilized during multi-INT product creation is essential. This knowledge base allows for optimized data collection and analysis.
- • You will be expected to gather, interpret, and compare data from various sources to produce insightful reports and establish clear conclusions. This analytical rigor is fundamental to the intelligence process.
- • Coordination and interaction with analysts from service, component, DoD, and national-level intelligence agencies will be a regular part of the role, fostering collaboration and information sharing across the intelligence community.
- • You will demonstrate an understanding of the input, output, and flow of information within a C5ISR environment, ensuring seamless integration of intelligence into the broader operational picture.
- • While not mandatory, deployed experience in forward-deployed locations supporting SOF units and providing intelligence support to tactical and operational SOF is highly desired, as it brings invaluable real-world context to the analysis.
