• In this role, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end development lifecycle of web applications. Your primary focus will be on backend development, where you will architect, build, maintain, and continuously optimize robust server-side logic and APIs. This involves leveraging your expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework to create scalable and secure solutions. You will be responsible for designing and fine-tuning MySQL/MariaDB databases, ensuring data integrity and performance through efficient SQL query writing. Adhering to Model-View-Controller (MVC) best practices and RESTful design patterns will be paramount in your backend development efforts.
• A significant part of your responsibilities will involve working within Linux environments. This includes managing server commands, developing shell scripts for automation, configuring cron jobs for scheduled tasks, and overseeing deployment processes. Your ability to navigate and manage server infrastructure effectively will be key to maintaining the stability and performance of our applications.
• While the emphasis is on backend, you will also contribute to frontend development as needed. This involves translating sophisticated designs, often provided in Figma, into responsive and user-friendly interfaces. You will utilize modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Svelte, React, and jQuery, along with HTML and CSS, to build engaging user experiences. Maintaining and enhancing existing legacy frontend components will also be part of your remit, ensuring a cohesive and up-to-date application across all user touchpoints.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack or web development, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Proven proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework, with a deep understanding of building robust backend services.
• Solid experience with database design and optimization, specifically with MySQL or MariaDB, including writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, Svelte, React, jQuery, HTML, and CSS, and the ability to translate design mockups (e.g., Figma) into functional UIs.
• Experience working in Linux environments, including managing server commands, shell scripting, cron jobs, and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of REST API development, MVC architecture, and version control using Git/GitHub.
