📋 Description

• • Shape the future of crypto in Southeast Asia by building the next generation of Coins’ web and mobile products from our Vila Velha hub. You will own end-to-end feature delivery—from whiteboard sketches to production releases—while collaborating with a globally distributed engineering squad in Manila, Singapore, and São Paulo.
• • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and performant full-stack solutions that serve 18 million active users and handle millions of daily transactions in Bitcoin, Ethereum, PHP, and other fiat/crypto pairs. Your code will directly influence how Filipinos access and trust digital finance.
• • Lead green-field product initiatives such as new trading interfaces, DeFi yield products, and AI-driven customer-support automations. Translate complex product requirements into technical blueprints, define data models, API contracts, and deployment strategies that balance speed, cost, and reliability.
• • Champion code quality through rigorous peer reviews, automated testing (unit, integration, e2e), and continuous integration pipelines. Establish best practices for TypeScript/React on the front end and Java/Python/Node micro-services on the back end, ensuring every pull request raises the bar.
• • Optimize latency-critical paths—from CDN caching to database indexing—to deliver sub-second page loads and real-time price updates. Use AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and custom metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive 99.9 % uptime SLAs.
• • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and compliance officers in two-week Agile sprints. Present technical trade-offs, estimate effort, and commit to realistic yet ambitious timelines that keep us ahead of market demands.
• • Integrate third-party services—banking APIs, KYC providers, blockchain nodes—while abstracting away complexity behind clean, versioned REST and GraphQL endpoints. Ensure PCI-DSS and BSP regulatory compliance at every layer.
• • Mentor junior developers through pair programming, brown-bag sessions, and architecture guilds. Contribute to our internal component library and DevOps playbooks so that every team can ship faster and safer.
• • Experiment with emerging tech: deploy serverless functions on AWS Lambda for event-driven workflows, leverage N8N for low-code automation, and pilot AI models that reduce customer-support ticket volume by 30 %.
• • Report directly to the Head of Engineering and influence the technical roadmap for 2024-2025, including multi-region expansion, lightning-fast fiat on-ramps, and advanced trading features like derivatives and staking.
