- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that mirror real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specified requirements.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in code submissions to ensure robustness and accuracy.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference code, and expected outputs across all evaluated projects.
- • Work within production-grade codebases, navigating large, complex multi-file systems to simulate authentic development environments.
- • Contribute to the creation of high-quality, production-realistic coding challenges used to train and evaluate AI models.
- • Deliver complete and correct reference implementations with thorough documentation and validation artifacts.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to improve task quality and consistency.
- • Operate on a project-based, part-time consultant basis with full control over schedule and workload.
- • Use personal tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • Collaborate remotely with an AI lab and other global contributors without direct team supervision.
- • Accept payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated completion time.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English for all documentation, specifications, and feedback.
- • Engage in code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations as part of task design and evaluation.
- • May simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided those arrangements do not conflict with project obligations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
