- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that simulate real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specified requirements.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in code submissions to ensure robustness and accuracy.
- • Ensure strict alignment between natural-language specifications, reference code implementations, and expected outputs.
- • Contribute to the creation of production-realistic coding challenges used to train and evaluate AI models.
- • Participate in code reviews and refactoring exercises to improve code quality and maintainability across complex, multi-file codebases.
- • Navigate and debug large, legacy, or unfamiliar codebases to accurately assess functionality and propose improvements.
- • Deliver high-quality validation artifacts including test coverage reports, error logs, and structured feedback on peer submissions.
- • Work on a project-based, part-time consultant basis with full autonomy over schedule and workload.
- • Use personal tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment is provided.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English at an advanced level for all documentation, specifications, and feedback.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of AI trainers and engineers across time zones.
- • May simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided those arrangements do not conflict with project obligations.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time to complete each task.
- • Engage in production-like software engineering workflows including version control, code reviews, and migration tasks.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
