- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately reflect real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code behavior.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specified requirements.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, logical inconsistencies, and potential failure modes in both task specifications and submitted code solutions.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs across diverse programming contexts.
- • Work within large, complex codebases to simulate production-grade software engineering challenges for AI model training and evaluation.
- • Participate in code reviews and contribute to refactoring efforts that improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- • Execute production migrations and debugging tasks that mirror real-world technical debt and system evolution scenarios.
- • Operate as an independent contractor with full control over schedule, tools, and workflow while delivering high-quality project outputs.
- • Contribute to a project-based, part-time engagement with no expectation of long-term employment or fixed hours.
- • Collaborate remotely with an AI lab and other expert contributors to generate training data that improves AI systems’ coding capabilities.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce unambiguous specifications, feedback, and documentation.
- • Deliver structured, actionable peer review feedback that helps refine the quality and realism of coding tasks submitted by other contributors.
- • Generate validation artifacts including test coverage reports, expected outputs, and failure case analyses to support AI model evaluation.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to project guidelines and quality standards.
- • Simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project requirements or confidentiality obligations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
