- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for AI training datasets.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately reflect real-world software engineering scenarios.
- • Develop and extend unit and integration test suites using testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code behavior.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specified requirements.
- • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes in coding tasks to improve task quality and AI model training effectiveness.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference code implementations, and expected outputs across diverse programming contexts.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to validate functionality and maintain code integrity.
- • Participate in code reviews and contribute to refactoring and production migration efforts as part of task design and evaluation.
- • Work on a project-based, part-time consultant model with full autonomy over schedule and workload.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks that simulate authentic software engineering challenges for AI model training.
- • Generate structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to improve the quality and consistency of training data.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous technical documentation and evaluations.
- • Use own tools and infrastructure to complete tasks; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • Contribute to a global AI training initiative in collaboration with a leading AI Lab, focusing on enhancing model reasoning and coding capabilities.
- • Operate as an independent contractor with the flexibility to engage with other vendors or employers, provided such engagements do not violate their terms.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time to complete each task.
- • Work remotely with no requirement for physical presence or scheduled meetings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
