- • As a Full Stack Developer (Mobile & Web) at Maxima Consulting Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming a web-based prototype into a unified, production-ready platform for a cutting-edge wearable technology startup focused on athlete performance tracking and injury prevention. Your work will directly contribute to delivering a functional build by summer for investor demonstrations, bridging hardware innovation with seamless software experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
- • You will lead end-to-end development of cross-platform applications, ensuring tight integration between wearable hardware and software systems, with a strong emphasis on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, audio signal processing, and consistent user experience across devices. This role demands both technical depth and adaptability as you help scale a prototype into a robust, investor-ready ecosystem.
- • You will collaborate closely with Maxima Consulting’s global technology team, leveraging the company’s decades of expertise in software development, quality assurance, and digital transformation to support a high-impact startup project. Though embedded in a client-facing initiative, you’ll benefit from Maxima’s structured support, mentorship, and access to broad technical resources across its international delivery centers.
- • This role offers significant growth potential: you’ll deepen expertise in modern full-stack architectures, gain hands-on experience with real-time hardware-software integration, and contribute to a product with tangible health and performance impact—ideal for developers eager to work at the intersection of mobile technology, embedded systems, and wellness innovation.
- • You will design and implement responsive UIs using ReactJS and React Native, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms while optimizing performance for real-time data streaming from wearable sensors.
- • You will develop and refine Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols to enable reliable, low-latency communication between the wearable device and companion apps, handling data synchronization, error recovery, and power efficiency.
- • You will implement audio processing pipelines within the application to capture, filter, and analyze signals from the device, supporting features like biomechanical feedback or injury risk detection.
- • You will architect and manage backend services using Supabase or similar tools, designing schemas, APIs, and authentication flows to securely store and serve user and sensor data.
- • You will oversee deployment and monitoring of backend instances on Akamai/Linode (formerly Linode) infrastructure, ensuring scalability, uptime, and efficient resource utilization for demo and production environments.
- • You will participate in agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and testing strategies to maintain quality and accelerate delivery toward the summer milestone.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in ReactJS and React Native for building cross-platform mobile and web applications
- • Extensive experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication protocols and hardware integration
- • Background in audio signal processing or willingness to develop expertise in real-time audio analysis within mobile frameworks
- • Experience with Supabase or comparable relational databases (PostgreSQL-based) for backend data management
- • Ability to configure, deploy, and manage backend instances on Akamai/Linode cloud infrastructure
- • Understanding of RESTful API design principles for data upload, retrieval, and synchronization across platforms
