📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js to support creator and brand workflows on Pearpop’s platform.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that enable front-end services, creator tools, and brand integrations with low latency and high reliability.
• Work with database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, using ORMs like Sequelize to build and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements built using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Optimize application performance and scalability using cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS to handle high-volume creator interactions.
• Implement security and data protection measures including authentication via Gravitee and encryption protocols to safeguard user and creator data.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across both back-end and front-end systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal platform performance.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high code quality standards and adhere to Pearpop’s engineering best practices.
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and talent teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with Pearpop’s creator-centric vision.
• Stay current with industry trends in full-stack development and incorporate relevant technologies to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of creator-centric features that improve engagement, workflow efficiency, and cultural relevance in social media campaigns.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions to support automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Apply knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure to support scalable and resilient application architecture.
• Communicate technical progress and challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders across product and creative teams.
• Support the growth of Pearpop’s platform by identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions for evolving creator economy demands.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software development, with 2+ years focused on back-end development using Node.js and 1+ years contributing to front-end development (React or similar).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Hono), with experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite) and ORMs like Sequelize.
• Strong experience with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Cloudflare) and containerization (Docker), with basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
