We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in enterprise applications to join our client's core engineering teams. This role is a remote position based in Brazil, offering a unique opportunity to work as a consultant and make a significant impact on business solutions.
• As a Full Stack Engineer at Pyyne, you will be instrumental in developing sophisticated business solutions, primarily using Python. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, product managers, and fellow engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient software. Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
• On the backend, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance REST APIs using Python (version 3.10 and above) and the FastAPI framework. A deep understanding of asynchronous programming patterns (async/await) is crucial for building efficient and responsive services. You will work extensively with PostgreSQL databases, employing ORM patterns like SQLAlchemy to interact with the data layer. Managing database migrations effectively using tools such as Alembic will be a key part of your role, ensuring data integrity and schema evolution. Furthermore, you will be tasked with integrating various third-party APIs, requiring careful planning and execution to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• For backend testing, proficiency with pytest is essential. You will be expected to write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the backend services. Experience with backend test automation will be critical in maintaining code quality and enabling rapid iteration. You will also contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated deployments to production environments. Production monitoring using tools like Sentry will be vital for identifying and resolving issues quickly, maintaining high availability and performance.
• On the frontend, you will leverage your strong experience with React and TypeScript to build dynamic, user-friendly interfaces. A solid grasp of state management libraries such as React Query (TanStack Query) is necessary for efficient data fetching and synchronization. You will utilize tools like React Hook Form for robust form handling and validation, ensuring a seamless user experience. The role involves working with a component-based architecture, promoting the development of reusable UI patterns and maintaining a consistent design system. Frontend testing, using frameworks like Vitest, Jest, and Testing Library, will be a core responsibility to guarantee the quality and functionality of the user interface.
• In terms of DevOps and infrastructure, you will gain hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications, ensuring consistency across development, testing, and production environments. Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically services like Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage, is required. You will also be involved in setting up and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, enabling reproducible and manageable infrastructure deployments. Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance is essential for automating the build, test, and deployment processes. Monitoring production environments effectively is key, and experience with tools like Sentry will be valuable.

Performance optimization in asynchronous Python services will be a continuous focus, ensuring our applications remain fast and efficient. On the frontend, you might explore modern styling with Radix UI and TailwindCSS, implement data visualizations using Recharts, or enhance user experience with product analytics tools like PostHog. You will also contribute to ensuring accessibility best practices are followed, making our products usable for everyone. • Strong proficiency in Python (3.10+) and FastAPI for backend development.
