• • As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial product discovery and planning through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA specialists to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve our industry-leading products.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full stack, ensuring Deel's platform delivers a white-glove experience to our customers. This means you will fully own the development of features across the client, server, service, and database layers, contributing to the seamless operation of our global payroll and HR solutions.
• • You will be instrumental in developing high-quality, responsive web applications, primarily utilizing TypeScript, JavaScript, and React for the front end. Experience with modern frameworks like NestJS, Vite, and Next.js will be highly advantageous, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge development practices.
• • On the server side, you will design and implement robust APIs, intricate data models, and complex business logic, with a strong emphasis on the Express framework. This will involve creating efficient and scalable backend services that power Deel's extensive functionalities.
• • For the client-side development, you will craft reusable, function-based React components, build comprehensive stories for component visualization, and implement thorough tests to ensure seamless interaction with your server-side work. The focus will be on creating maintainable, modular, and scalable code that adheres to best practices.
• • You will also be responsible for creating and optimizing database schemas, writing efficient queries, and managing interactions with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance are paramount.
