📋 Description
- • As a Full-Stack Engineer at Tempo Automation Holdings, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI-powered visual IDE. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a cutting-edge platform designed to revolutionize how designers and developers interact with complex systems. You will be at the forefront of developing intuitive, high-performance web applications, working within a dynamic and collaborative cross-functional team. Your expertise will be crucial in creating seamless and powerful user experiences, directly impacting the usability and effectiveness of our innovative product.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve the design and implementation of robust front-end solutions. This includes crafting user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly performant and scalable. You will leverage modern web technologies to build interactive components and ensure a smooth user journey within the visual IDE. A key aspect of this role is translating intricate design concepts provided by UX/UI designers into functional, high-quality code, ensuring that the final product aligns perfectly with the intended user experience and aesthetic standards.
- • Beyond the front-end, you will actively contribute to the development and maintenance of our backend capabilities. This involves working extensively with TypeScript, a language known for its type safety and scalability, which is central to our technology stack. You will be responsible for building and managing core backend services, including leveraging Supabase for database management, authentication, and storage solutions. Furthermore, you will develop and deploy serverless logic and integrations using Supabase Edge Functions, enabling dynamic and responsive application behavior.
- • A critical component of this role is the creation, versioning, and meticulous documentation of APIs. You will be expected to design and implement APIs, adhering to clear specifications using standards like OpenAPI/Swagger. This focus on API design ensures strong developer experience for both internal teams and potential external integrations, promoting maintainability and ease of use. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from initial coding and rigorous testing to debugging and seamless deployment across both the front-end and back-end systems.
- • You will play a vital role in ensuring that our platform maintains high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency across all user-facing elements. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the visual integrity of our product. Staying abreast of emerging front-end technologies and methodologies is also a key expectation. You will be encouraged to research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and techniques that can enhance our platform's capabilities, ensuring Tempo remains at the cutting edge of web development.
- • This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to shipping production-ready code. You will be expected to identify challenges, propose effective solutions, and implement them with precision. Collaboration is paramount; you will work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers, fostering a team-oriented environment where ideas are shared freely and collective goals are achieved. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and spoken English, will be essential for success in this remote role.
- • To ensure effective collaboration and project continuity, you will be expected to maintain an online presence and be available during core working hours, specifically between 9 am and 4 pm EST. This availability is crucial for real-time communication, participation in meetings, and prompt responses to team needs, regardless of your physical location. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing to a product that is set to redefine industry standards.
- • The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the full development stack, from user interface design and implementation to backend logic and database management. You will be challenged to think critically about architecture, performance optimization, and scalability, ensuring our platform can grow and adapt to future demands. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience and the overall success of Tempo Automation Holdings, Inc., making this a highly rewarding position for a motivated and skilled Full-Stack Engineer.
