  • • Join StackAdapt, a leading technology company revolutionizing the advertising landscape, as a Full Stack Engineer on our innovative Total Media team. You will play a pivotal role in developing a brand-new ad operating system, contributing to the foundational infrastructure and gateways that orchestrate interactions with major digital ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex integrations that enable seamless, unified execution across the broader advertising world, directly impacting the success and evolution of our AI-powered marketing platform.
  • • As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and operating external campaign integrations that support the entire Ads campaign management lifecycle. This involves implementing sophisticated lifecycle state machines and orchestration mechanisms to manage activation and updates across hierarchical entities, ensuring smooth operation with multiple advertising and marketing partners.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to engineer robust reliability patterns for production integrations. This includes mastering the intricacies of rate-limit handling, implementing effective pagination strategies, designing batching processes, integrating circuit breakers to prevent cascading failures, and developing drift detection and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure eventual consistency across distributed systems.
  • • You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers, contributing to the design of scalable, well-tested, and thoroughly documented web architecture. This encompasses both the backend systems and the APIs that power our platform, ensuring maintainability and future extensibility.
  • • We foster a culture of ownership and accountability. You will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for projects from their initial conception through to their successful completion and deployment, driving initiatives forward with autonomy and expertise.
  • • Your work will involve handling large datasets and leveraging modern tech stacks, including exposure to GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL, among others. This role offers continuous learning and development opportunities within a diverse and flexible engineering environment.
  • • The Total Media team is at the forefront of building the next generation of advertising technology. You will be working on core components that define how brands and performance marketing connect, driving measurable results across the entire customer journey. This requires a deep understanding of system design, API integrations, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for developing clear and comprehensive internal documentation, enabling fellow engineers to easily run applications locally and efficiently troubleshoot and debug issues. This commitment to knowledge sharing is crucial for our team's collective success.
  • • Embrace and utilize AI-assisted developer tooling and potentially build agentic workflows to accelerate delivery cycles and enhance the overall quality and reliability of our operational processes.
  • • Contribute to a collaborative and cross-functional engineering organization where innovation and teamwork are paramount. You will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and best practices in the ad-tech industry.
  • • This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-impact, scalable software solutions that shape the future of digital advertising.
  • • You will be an integral part of a team that values innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients. Your contributions will directly influence the capabilities and performance of StackAdapt's industry-leading platform.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a strong desire to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges within the ad-tech space.
  • • You will be working in a remote-first environment, collaborating with colleagues across Canada and the United States, fostering a global perspective and diverse working relationships.
  • • This is more than just a coding job; it's an opportunity to be part of a company that is recognized for its innovation, workplace culture, and impact on the industry, contributing to a product that empowers marketers worldwide.
