- • As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Sierra Studio, you will provide strategic technical leadership across a modern TypeScript + React + Python + FastAPI codebase, working closely with product managers and engineers to architect, plan, and develop robust full stack solutions for an insurance compliance platform undergoing a major transformation from services-based to AI-powered automation.
- • Day to day, you will lead end-to-end development from idea to launch, craft high-quality code with active participation in code reviews, write technical specs translating business needs into robust solutions, engage with stakeholders to turn vision into reality, document thoroughly for onboarding and knowledge sharing, refine engineering best practices, manage and mentor engineers, drive sprint planning and release management, and architect and evolve the technology stack to address scaling challenges.
- • You will be embedded in a growing insurance compliance platform’s cross-functional product team (~10 engineers) while being part of Sierra Studio’s talent network, a Brazilian-predominant engineering team that values autonomy, pair programming, deep work, strong communication, and daily standups during Brazilian midday, all within a culture of good vibes, open communication, and continuous learning.
- • In this role, you will have high ownership and real architectural influence, helping define product evolution, guide technology decisions, mentor a team, ensure quality and speed in shipping, and gain deep experience in rebuilding a platform from the ground up with modern stack and AI/LLM integration, directly impacting how businesses manage insurance compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
- • Proficiency in frontend technologies: TypeScript and React
- • Proficiency in backend technologies: Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy
- • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- • Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions or equivalent
- • Strong written and verbal communication in English
