- • As a Full Stack Integrator at RTX BBN Technologies, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge AI/ML, cybersecurity, and tactical situational awareness solutions that directly support military, law enforcement, and emergency response personnel in high-stakes environments. Your work will bridge innovative research with operational deployment, ensuring that prototype technologies evolve into fielded systems that enhance decision-making and mission effectiveness for the technology-augmented warfighter of the future.
- • You will collaborate with a small, elite team of researchers and engineers to design and develop prototype software using modern open-source technologies, actively incorporating feedback from end users, field tests, and live exercises to refine solutions for real-world usability and performance under pressure.
- • Your responsibilities include exploring technical possibilities in cloud architectures, network stacks, and systems integration while delivering practical, scalable solutions to complex defense and security challenges through iterative development and rigorous testing.
- • You will be required to travel onsite to a military installation in San Diego, CA approximately 2 days per week (up to 15% travel) to provide direct support in customer environments, ensuring seamless integration and user acceptance of developed technologies.
- • Beyond development, you will participate in the full lifecycle of innovation—from initial prototyping to transitioning technologies into operational use—gaining hands-on experience in defense R&D processes, technology transfer, and government contracting workflows.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- • Proven experience with Front-End Development (JavaScript or TypeScript) and/or Back-End Development (Java).
- • Demonstrated experience in systems architectures and protocols, including cloud computing and network stacks.
- • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is mandatory for clearance eligibility.
