📋 Description

• As a Full Stack Mobile Developer at Pearl Talent, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and scaling high-quality mobile applications that serve as the primary interface for users interacting with innovative startups. This role encompasses the entire mobile development lifecycle, from the initial conceptualization and UI implementation to seamless backend integration, rigorous deployment, continuous optimization, and ongoing feature enhancements. You will be a key player in translating complex product requirements and intricate design specifications into performant, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile experiences across both iOS and Android platforms.
• This position is perfectly suited for developers who thrive on taking ownership of features from inception to completion, possess a keen ability to balance technical excellence with a deep understanding of user experience, and are eager to work across the full mobile stack within dynamic, fast-paced startup environments. Your contributions will directly shape how users engage with cutting-edge products, driving critical metrics such as user engagement, retention, and overall product success. The technical decisions you make will have a profound influence on the scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of our clients' mobile platforms.
• Your core responsibilities will be divided across several key areas. Approximately 40% of your time will be dedicated to Mobile Application Development. This involves building and meticulously maintaining robust mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You will be responsible for implementing responsive and polished user interfaces that precisely align with provided design specifications, effectively translating designs from tools like Figma into clean, maintainable, and efficient code. A significant focus will be placed on optimizing application performance, ensuring seamless responsiveness, and maintaining stability across a wide range of devices and operating system versions.
• Another 25% of your effort will be focused on Backend Integration & Services. This entails seamlessly integrating the mobile applications with backend services and APIs, managing complex authentication flows, ensuring reliable data synchronization, and implementing robust error handling mechanisms. You will be tasked with implementing secure and scalable data flows that protect user information and support application growth. Furthermore, you will integrate various third-party SDKs and services as required to enhance application functionality and user experience.
• Approximately 15% of your role will involve Testing, Deployment & Maintenance. This includes maintaining strict version control using Git and adhering to clean code practices. You will support the critical process of app deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring a smooth and successful release. Debugging issues, proactively monitoring application performance, and resolving crashes will be essential to maintaining a high-quality user experience. Writing and maintaining comprehensive unit and integration tests will be crucial for ensuring code quality and stability.
• The remaining 10% of your time will be allocated to Platform Optimization & Features. This involves implementing platform-specific features and enhancements to leverage the unique capabilities of iOS and Android. You will focus on optimizing key user journeys, including onboarding flows, navigation, and overall user interaction. Ensuring compatibility with evolving OS updates and diverse device variations will be a continuous effort. Managing permissions, notifications, and deep linking functionalities will also fall under this area.
• Finally, 10% of your role will be dedicated to Collaboration & Delivery. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to bring products to life. Active participation in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives will be expected, fostering a collaborative and iterative development process. Clear and concise communication of progress, potential risks, and technical trade-offs will be vital. You will also contribute to essential documentation and help uphold shared engineering standards within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2+ years of professional mobile development experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping applications for either iOS or Android.
• Proficiency in either cross-platform frameworks (such as Flutter or React Native) or native mobile development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
• Demonstrated experience integrating mobile applications with backend services or APIs, handling data exchange and communication.
• Strong understanding of the mobile app lifecycle, including performance considerations, memory management, and platform-specific best practices.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and maintain productivity in a fully remote work environment.
• A portfolio, GitHub repository, or examples of launched applications that showcase your mobile development capabilities.
