📋 Description

• Full Stack Software Engineer, Agent Enablement at OpenAI, Inc. in San Francisco, focused on designing and growing an open ecosystem of agent-enabled sites and services to make AI tools globally accessible and responsibly deployed.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing primitives and protocols for an open agent ecosystem, building next-generation user experiences to observe and control agents across web, desktop, and mobile, evolving token consumption approaches for subscriptions and API customers, executing fast-paced projects with research, design, data science, and product engineering teams, and collaborating with strategic customers and partners to grow the ecosystem.
• The Agent Enablement team works across engineering, product, design, and research to deploy AI technology safely and responsibly, aiming to transcend geographic, economic, and platform barriers while ensuring AI benefits all of humanity through rigorous insights into product usage.
• In this role, you will drive technical decisions, steer product and partnership direction, optimize for short-term impact and long-term success, and develop expertise in enterprise-scale identity, permissions, governance, compliance, and billing systems while shaping the future of AI agent ecosystems.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience shipping customer-facing products from concept to production, comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and product design.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions, with a track record of turning high-level ideas into successful outcomes by bringing structure and clarity.
• Experience working closely with users and customers to translate feedback into product improvements.
• Familiarity with enterprise software concepts such as identity, permissions, governance, compliance, and billing.
• Thrives in fast-moving zero-to-one environments and is excited to pursue an internet-wide vision for agent-enabled ecosystems.
