Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join a 25-year-strong, AI-first global tech company that has quietly become the invisible engine behind some of the world’s most iconic brands. You’ll be part of a 2,000-person powerhouse delivering 500 concurrent projects for Fortune 500 giants like HBO, Microsoft, Google, and Starbucks—yet you’ll work from wherever you feel most inspired.
- • Own the full lifecycle of cloud-native products that reach hundreds of millions of end-users. From whiteboard sketches to production traffic, you’ll architect, code, test, deploy, and scale Java-based microservices and React-driven front ends that power everything from streaming recommendations to supply-chain optimization.
- • Collaborate in truly global, cross-functional squads that blend product managers, data scientists, UX designers, and DevOps engineers across 4 continents. Daily stand-ups rotate time-zones so everyone shares the inconvenience equally; weekly demos rotate presenters so every voice is heard.
- • Leverage cutting-edge AI tooling—not just to build features, but to accelerate how you build. Think pair-programming with LLMs that auto-generate integration tests, continuous profiling that predicts memory leaks before they hit prod, and self-healing pipelines that cut MTTR by 40 %.
- • Design for planet-scale: multi-region Kubernetes clusters, event-driven architectures on Kafka, and polyglot persistence (Postgres, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch) that handle 10k req/sec spikes when the next Game of Thrones trailer drops.
- • Champion clean-code craftsmanship. We merge 300 PRs a day; every line is peer-reviewed, property-tested, and scanned by AI linters. You’ll set the bar for test coverage, lead brown-bag sessions on new JDK features, and mentor junior engineers through structured “teach-back” rotations.
- • Instrument everything. Your services emit golden signals (latency, traffic, errors, saturation) to Prometheus, Grafana, and Honeycomb. You’ll join blameless post-mortems, turn incidents into runbooks, and turn runbooks into automated remediation.
- • Ship weekly, rollback in minutes. Blue-green and canary releases are the norm; feature flags decouple deploy from release. You’ll help evolve our GitOps-driven CD pipeline so that pushing to main feels as safe as running unit tests.
- • Influence product strategy. Engineers here present directly to client CTOs, translate technical trade-offs into business impact, and get budget approval for experiments that can become $10 M lines of business.
- • Grow without limits. Budget for conferences, certifications, and nano-degrees is unlimited; internal mobility moves engineers from streaming media to fintech to green-energy platforms in a single quarter. Your career lattice is as wide as your curiosity.
- • Work in an async-first culture that prizes deep focus. Core collaboration hours are only 3 per day; the rest is yours for flow state. We measure impact, not keystrokes, and celebrate PRs merged over hours online.
