• • As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product and engineering culture. Your work will have a direct and immediate impact on our users, as they rely on our platform daily. We are an engineering-first company that embraces cutting-edge AI tools, utilizing Claude Code and agentic coding tools as our primary development environment. • • You will be responsible for owning and leading product features from conception through to deployment. This includes the entire lifecycle: research, design, implementation, testing, and shipping. You will have the opportunity to lead and shape our engineering architecture, setting high standards for code quality, testing methodologies, and development practices across the entire technology stack.
• • A key aspect of this role involves mentoring and guiding other engineers in adopting AI-native workflows. You will establish best practices and patterns, fostering a collaborative environment where AI-assisted development is the norm. Furthermore, you will engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate vague requirements into polished, user-friendly experiences.
• • On the backend, you will design and implement scalable systems using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for schema design, API development, and ensuring the robustness and scalability of our services. Your contributions will be crucial in building the foundational infrastructure that powers our platform.
• • For the frontend, you will build responsive and delightful user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, leveraging modern component libraries like shadcn/ui. You will focus on creating intuitive and accessible user experiences, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and adherence to design standards. Your work will directly influence how users interact with our product.
• • We expect you to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with minimal oversight, demonstrating a strong understanding of software engineering principles. You will drive architectural decisions and refine engineering processes to maximize development velocity through AI assistance. In this high-urgency environment, you will embrace a culture of shipping fast and learning fast, iterating quickly based on user feedback and market dynamics.
• • This role is ideal for individuals with 2-6 years of professional full-stack experience, preferably in a product-first company or a FAANG-level environment, where senior-level ownership is expected. You should be comfortable building features across the entire stack, from database schema design and backend APIs to crafting pixel-perfect, accessible frontend components. A deep care for product, design, and user experience, beyond just writing code, is essential.
• • You must have a proven track record of owning significant projects end-to-end, whether it be a product module, an infrastructure refactor, or a major feature launch. The ability to set high standards for engineering quality and make sound architectural decisions within an AI-native development paradigm is critical. Resourcefulness and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, figuring things out independently, are highly valued.
• • Crucially, you must possess strong product intuition and the confidence to push back on requirements when necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Your approach to problem-solving should be inherently AI-driven; you should leverage AI tools and workflows as your default method for tackling new problems, acquiring new skills, or addressing architectural challenges.
• • You will need a strong understanding of modern coding tools, with a specific emphasis on Claude Code and its various modes (Interactive, Plan, Headless, Agent Teams, Delegate). Proficiency in directing AI to build while you focus on architecting, reviewing, and verifying is key. You should possess the judgment to discern correct AI output from that which requires correction. Demonstrating recent AI-native work, with meaningful projects shipped in the last 90 days where AI coding tools were your primary development environment, is a requirement.
