- • Lead the architectural direction for large-scale features that span both our web and mobile applications. You will leverage our established technology stack, which includes TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js, to design and implement robust, scalable solutions. This involves making critical decisions about system architecture, ensuring performance, maintainability, and future extensibility.
- • Take ownership of significant expansion initiatives, particularly targeting the dynamic APAC and EU markets. This will involve the intricate design and implementation of new food database integrations. You will navigate evolving schemas, complex localization requirements, and ensure seamless data flow and user experience across diverse international landscapes.
- • Drive critical cross-platform projects that demand deep discovery, comprehensive system-level thinking, and effective collaboration across multiple distinct Teamworks teams. This requires a holistic understanding of our product ecosystem and the ability to orchestrate efforts to achieve unified goals.
- • Proactively identify and prioritize meaningful technical debt across our systems. Your focus will be on improving the overall reliability, scalability, security posture, and developer experience. This includes refactoring legacy code, optimizing performance bottlenecks, and implementing best practices to ensure the long-term health and efficiency of our platform.
- • Mentor and uplevel fellow engineers through dedicated pairing sessions, thorough code reviews, and hands-on collaborative problem-solving. Your guidance will be crucial in raising the overall technical capability and quality of the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- • Partner closely with Product Managers and other cross-functional stakeholders. This collaboration involves meticulously clarifying requirements, constructively challenging assumptions, and strategically influencing the technical roadmap to align with business objectives and user needs.
- • Contribute to the strategic vision for the Nutrition platform and its integration within the broader Teamworks ecosystem. This includes anticipating future needs, evaluating new technologies, and advocating for technical solutions that drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- • Champion engineering best practices, including robust testing strategies, efficient deployment pipelines, and comprehensive monitoring solutions, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on building production-grade applications using TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js across both frontend and backend systems.
- • Proven track record of leading architectural decisions and successfully delivering complex, full-stack features at scale, demonstrating strategic technical leadership.
- • Strong system design skills, including experience in designing distributed systems and complex cross-system integrations, with a deep understanding of architectural patterns and trade-offs.
- • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure and DevOps practices, encompassing a combination of Terraform, AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), and modern CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- • Clear understanding of AWS tooling and cloud-native architecture, with the ability to support and influence infrastructure decisions at a Staff level.
- • Demonstrated ability to mentor and uplevel engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and improving overall team quality and standards.
- • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment on technical strategies and project goals.
