📋 Description

• Join Fundraise Up as a Senior Fullstack Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a global fundraising platform that empowers non-profits worldwide. You will be instrumental in building and scaling critical features that directly impact millions of users and facilitate tens of millions of dollars in donations each month. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a mission-driven environment, working on a product that makes a tangible difference in the world.
• As a key contributor to our core product, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of complex components. This includes designing, building, and maintaining resilient frontend and backend features using modern technologies like React and Node.js. Your work will span across our diverse product ecosystem, encompassing everything from the dynamic, high-converting donation checkouts and embeddable widgets to sophisticated donor, organization, and partner portals, as well as essential admin tools and internal applications.
• You will architect and develop system components engineered for massive scale, capable of handling millions of monthly transactions with unwavering reliability and performance. This requires a deep understanding of distributed systems and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks. Your code will be the foundation upon which our platform grows, demanding a relentless focus on quality, maintainability, and efficiency.

• This role offers the chance to work with a robust technology stack, including Node.js (Koa, NestJS) for the backend, and React for the frontend, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. You'll also engage with technologies like Webpack, Kafka, Bull (Redis), ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch, providing opportunities to expand your skillset and work with cutting-edge tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (event loop, closures, promises, prototypes).
• Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem.
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js (experience with Koa or NestJS is highly preferred).
• Experience with Webpack configuration, performance optimization, and profiling.
• A keen eye for detail and a high sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
• Familiarity with Vue.js is a plus.
• Experience with MongoDB, ClickHouse, or Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure is a plus.
