• • Your primary responsibilities will revolve around backend development and cloud architecture, leveraging modern technologies and best practices to build a robust and efficient system.
• • You will be instrumental in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, adhering to an API-first approach, and utilizing Smithy for API definition. This ensures consistency and maintainability across our service ecosystem.
• • Develop and deploy backend services using Kotlin, with seamless interoperability with Java, leveraging the power of AWS Lambda for serverless execution. This allows for scalable and cost-effective operations.
• • You will be responsible for data modeling and optimization within DynamoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for high-volume transactions.
• • Define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK, enabling reproducible and automated infrastructure deployments.
• • Contribute to the frontend development by building and maintaining user interfaces with React and TypeScript, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
• • Integrate critical third-party services, including payment gateways like OpenPay, seat selection tools like Seats.io, user authentication with Cognito, and email notification services, to provide a comprehensive event management solution.
• • Implement a rigorous testing strategy using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and Testing Library to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of all developed features.
• • Uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability within a monorepo environment, supported by a robust CI/CD pipeline managed through GitHub Actions.
• • Actively participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes, contributing to the long-term technical vision of the platform.
• • Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users and event organizers.
• • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, serverless architectures, and fullstack development, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
