📋 Description

• As a Fully Licensed Therapist at Equip Health Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based, virtual eating disorder treatment to patients across the lifespan, contributing to a mission-driven organization recognized as one of Time’s most influential companies of 2023.
• Day to day, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy using modalities such as FBT and CBT-E, manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, maintain clinical documentation, and participate in supervision and team meetings—all conducted remotely via telehealth.
• Equip is a fully virtual, innovative healthcare company founded in 2019, operating in all 50 states and partnered with major health insurers, dedicated to expanding access to effective eating disorder treatment through a compassionate, diverse, and clinically expert team.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in evidence-based eating disorder treatments, receive reimbursement for licensure and continuing education, and grow professionally through robust training, supervision, and opportunities to support patients and families in meaningful recovery journeys.

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in New York
• Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and varying acuity levels
• Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (until 8pm in patient’s primary time zone)
• Enthusiastic, strong team player with passion for evidence-based care and mental health treatment
• Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting
• Experience in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and/or eating disorder treatment (preferred)
