- • The Gaming Marketing and Events Manager serves as a critical linchpin between BetMGM’s digital gaming organization and MGM Resorts International’s land-based casino portfolio, ensuring seamless alignment between online and retail gaming experiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing relationships with MGM properties, coordinating on-site gaming events and activations, leading the gaming events/marketing team, overseeing logistics and vendor coordination, maintaining event calendars, analyzing campaign performance with Business Intelligence, collaborating with CRM and Loyalty teams, and supporting on-site execution including compliance, signage, and betting hero assistance.
- • The role operates within BetMGM, a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Entain Group, which employs over 1,400 team members and is revolutionizing sports betting and online gaming across the U.S. and Canada with a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and delivering premium gaming experiences.
- • The person in this role will develop expertise in integrated omnichannel gaming marketing, gain deep exposure to land-based casino operations and regulatory environments, lead high-impact events that drive player acquisition and loyalty, and build cross-functional influence across BetMGM and MGM Resorts stakeholders—positioning them for advancement in gaming marketing, event leadership, or hospitality strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in gaming, marketing, event management, hospitality, or related industry with demonstrated ownership of live event execution
- • Proven experience leading or directing an events team, providing day-to-day guidance, setting priorities, and ensuring accountability across planning and execution phases
- • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously while balancing regional priorities
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to MGM Grand Detroit and Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa for planning meetings, team oversight, and on-site event execution, including evenings and weekends
- • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license in applicable jurisdictions as a condition of hire and continued employment
