General Accountant

📋 Description

• • As the in-house Accountant at Hive Technologies Inc., you will take full ownership of the company’s accounting function during a pivotal transition from outsourced to internal financial control, playing a critical role in building scalable systems and improving financial accuracy and speed.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, journal entries, accruals) across multiple entities, managing the month-end close process, maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition for SaaS/subscription models, preparing financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), managing expense programs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and leading or supporting ERP system implementation.
• • You will join a growing, remote-first team at Hive, a leading marketing platform for event marketers that powers campaigns for 1,500+ iconic events and brands across North America, integrating with partners like Ticketmaster and Shopify to deliver real-time customer insights.
