- • As a General Adjuster at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., you will investigate insurance claims for personal, casualty, or property loss, working to determine liability and negotiate fair settlements—playing a vital role in helping individuals and businesses recover from unexpected events.
- • Day to day, you will handle complex claims independently within your authority, interview claimants and witnesses, inspect property damage, review police and medical records, estimate repair or replacement costs, prepare detailed findings reports, negotiate settlements, and recommend litigation when necessary, while also revising case reserves and assisting in loss experience reporting.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- • Must have earned the IIA-AIC designation and be actively pursuing another professional insurance designation
- • Appropriate state adjuster license is required
- • Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- • Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- • Attention to detail and accuracy
- • Good time management and organizational skills
- • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
