• • In this crucial role, you will be an integral part of our finance team, directly contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will play a key part in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with German HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch) standards. Your responsibilities will extend to assisting with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) reporting adjustments, providing valuable insights into our financial performance from an international perspective. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in both German and international accounting principles within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• • Your core responsibilities will include taking ownership of specific closing areas, such as provisions, deferred revenue, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations. You will meticulously perform regular account reconciliations, ensuring a seamless and accurate alignment between the general ledger and sub-ledgers, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll. This meticulous attention to detail is paramount to maintaining the reliability of our financial data.
• • Furthermore, you will be instrumental in preparing audit documentation and actively supporting our external auditors during their inquiries. This involves gathering necessary information, providing explanations, and ensuring all audit-related requests are addressed efficiently and accurately. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing their accounting and financial queries within your areas of responsibility, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves supporting the migration from our current DATEV system to the Workday ERP system from an accounting perspective. You will contribute your expertise to ensure a smooth transition, validating data, and adapting processes as needed.
