📋 Description
- • Join Contentsquare’s dynamic Records to Report (RTR) team in Wrocław as a General Ledger Accountant, where you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, ensuring the smooth execution of our closing processes, and guaranteeing the reliability of our financial reporting across multiple legal entities. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the RTR Manager, will see you taking ownership of core General Accounting activities. You will collaborate extensively with various departments across the business, ensuring all transactions are meticulously recorded and fully compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- • At the core of your responsibilities will be the day-to-day accounting operations. This includes the accurate posting of journal entries, the diligent preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, and the unwavering commitment to maintaining a clean, well-supported, and auditable General Ledger. Your attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring the integrity of our financial data.
- • You will play a crucial role in driving our monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles. This involves bringing structure, rigorous adherence to timelines, and a strong sense of ownership to all deliverables, ensuring that our financial statements are prepared efficiently and accurately.
- • A significant part of your role will involve managing key balance sheet accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of these accounts, maintaining comprehensive and audit-ready documentation to support all entries and balances.
- • You will actively contribute to both internal and external financial reporting processes. This entails delving into financial statement movements, providing clear explanations for variances, and fostering a high level of trust in our financial numbers among stakeholders. Your ability to translate complex financial data into understandable insights will be highly valued.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with our partners in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Legal, Human Resources (HR), and Procurement. This cross-functional partnership is essential to ensure that all transactions are properly understood, accurately recorded, and correctly reflected in our financial statements, providing a holistic view of the company's financial health.
- • We encourage a culture of continuous improvement. You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities to enhance our accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support enhancements to our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Your insights will contribute to making the team more efficient, scalable, and robust.
- • Furthermore, you will assist in documenting our accounting policies and internal control frameworks. This ensures that our accounting practices are clearly defined, consistently applied, and robust enough to support Contentsquare’s rapid growth and evolving business needs.
- • As part of a global leader in the experience analytics space, you will contribute to a company that is scaling rapidly across 15 offices worldwide. Contentsquare is dedicated to building an inclusive workplace where everyone learns and succeeds, fostering a community of individuals who are daring, understanding, and deliberate. You will be part of making the complex simpler for our customers, their customers, and each other.
🎯 Requirements

- • Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to navigate and contribute effectively within an international business environment.
- • Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles. Exposure to IFRS is highly advantageous.
- • A sharp analytical mindset, capable of not just processing numbers but critically evaluating them to ensure accuracy and logical consistency.
- • Proactive, highly organized, and meticulously detail-oriented, possessing the autonomy to manage your responsibilities end-to-end while also being a collaborative and supportive team member.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly and confidently. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, especially during critical closing periods, without compromising the quality of work.
