- • Coordinate and execute global policy campaigns, flagship initiatives, and high-priority special projects across multiple regions and stakeholder groups in collaboration with the VP of Global Policy.
- • Serve as the central operational lead for cross-functional initiatives involving policy, communications, partnerships, legal, and go-to-market teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- • Develop and maintain integrated planning systems including timelines, stakeholder trackers, milestones, briefing materials, and execution workflows for global campaigns and projects.
- • Establish and sustain operating rhythms across distributed, globally dispersed teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables across time zones and regional contexts.
- • Prepare high-quality executive-level briefing materials, strategic updates, presentations, talking points, and stakeholder communications for internal and external audiences.
- • Identify emerging geopolitical, policy, reputational, and ecosystem developments and translate them into actionable engagement strategies and execution plans.
- • Build lightweight operational systems and processes that enhance coordination, accountability, and visibility across a complex global portfolio of initiatives.
- • Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve organizational effectiveness, accelerate project coordination, strengthen situational awareness, and support strategic execution at scale.
- • Partner with senior leadership to drive proactive external engagement with governments, international institutions, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and industry partners.
- • Manage sensitive, high-visibility workstreams with strong judgment, discretion, and operational discipline in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environment.
- • Translate broad strategic priorities into concrete initiatives with clear owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes, ensuring momentum and completion.
- • Operate effectively across diverse cultural and geopolitical contexts, maintaining alignment with OpenAI’s mission to ensure artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.
- • Act as a trusted operational and strategic partner on critical, cross-cutting initiatives within the Global Affairs organization, influencing outcomes without formal authority.
- • Maintain strong organizational standards, initiative, and ownership to move complex projects forward independently in a dynamic environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, operations, partnerships, public affairs, consulting, policy, communications, or related fields in highly dynamic, cross-functional environments.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across functions, geographies, and time zones.
- • Strong operational instincts and exceptional organizational skills, with experience building systems that improve execution across complex portfolios.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefings, memos, presentations, and stakeholder materials.
- • Demonstrated interest in the intersection of technology, geopolitics, policy, partnerships, communications, and public engagement.
- • Proficiency with AI tools and demonstrated ability to apply AI capabilities to operational workflows, coordination, research, and execution.
