📋 Description

• As Global Head of Growth - Consumer at Kraken, you will act as co-founder of the consumer product vertical, jointly accountable for revenue performance alongside the Product lead, driving growth strategy and execution across acquisition, activation, and lifetime value (LTV) for Kraken’s consumer-facing products.
• You will lead and develop growth leads within your pod who own sub-verticals in the consumer portfolio, set strategy and priorities for horizontal functions (paid acquisition, lifecycle/CRM, onboarding, SEO, affiliate), and hold them accountable to interface-specific performance targets without direct ownership of execution infrastructure.
• You will own the consumer growth P&L — including NTU volume, payback period, 12-month LTV, and cohort quality — as a personal accountability metric, and use data fluency to identify high-value user segments, optimize unit economics, and defend targets when cohort quality degrades.
• You will drive go-to-market for new products and features with clear activation hypotheses, build an AI-native production model for creative and campaign assets, and maintain deep fluency in user economics to inform rapid iteration and scalable growth initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in growth, consumer product, or general management roles where you owned a revenue number (not just a marketing budget)
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a business owner: setting unit economics targets, tracking payback and LTV, and making resource allocation decisions based on cohort data
• Experience operating in a matrix or cross-functional model, setting direction and driving accountability through teams you do not directly own
• Strong product instincts, having worked shoulder-to-shoulder with product leads, not just alongside them
• AI-native working style: using AI to produce creative, analyze data, and accelerate execution as a default practice
• Experimentation discipline: designing, running, and killing experiments fast, with a track record of building cultures where testing is continuous
• Data fluency at the operator level: pulling your own data, forming hypotheses, and acting on insights without waiting for analytics teams
• Track record of developing growth talent and leading pods or sub-teams with clear outcome ownership
• Experience in consumer fintech, crypto, or other high-consideration industries where trust and education are key to acquisition
• Clear, direct communication style, capable of operating with founder intensity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and influencing without formal authority
