  • • As the Global People & Culture Data Steward & Governance Lead at NTT Ltd., you will be instrumental in shaping and safeguarding the integrity, security, and strategic utilization of our most valuable asset: people data. This advanced subject matter expert role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing the company's data infrastructure specifically within the People & Culture domain, ensuring it aligns with established frameworks and robust governance principles.
  • • You will be accountable for defining the comprehensive lifecycle of people data, from its storage and consumption to its integration and management across diverse data entities and IT systems. This includes overseeing any applications that utilize or process this critical data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance at every stage.
  • • A core responsibility involves creating and refining a data governance framework tailored to meet both business and technology requirements. This framework will prioritize data security and strict adherence to global regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and will be seamlessly integrated into relevant organizational processes to foster a data-driven culture.
  • • You will collaborate extensively across multiple teams, including HR, IT, and business units, to optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms. Your expertise will enhance overall data quality and governance, guiding the organization in making informed, strategic decisions based on reliable people analytics.
  • • Translating complex business requirements into actionable database structures, data warehouses, and data streams will be a key function. You will work closely with stakeholders to deeply understand their data needs, subsequently designing appropriate data models and structures that support strategic HR initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • • The design and implementation of robust data integration and data flow processes are crucial for ensuring efficient and secure data movement across various systems and platforms. This ensures that data is accessible, reliable, and actionable for all relevant parties.
  • • You will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and defining the overarching data architecture framework for people data. This encompasses critical elements such as security protocols, reference data management, metadata standards, and master data governance, ensuring a cohesive and well-managed data ecosystem.
  • • Defining and implementing clear data governance policies and procedures is paramount to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and security. This includes establishing clear accountabilities for data quality mandates across the organization.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves the planning and facilitation of data governance communities, workshops, and meetings. You will engage with individuals at various organizational levels to foster collaboration, share best practices, and drive consensus on data governance initiatives.
  • • You will critically analyze existing data systems, identify opportunities for enhancement, and recommend innovative solutions to elevate data management and analytics capabilities within the People & Culture function. This proactive approach ensures we remain at the forefront of HR technology and data utilization.
  • • Establishing and maintaining comprehensive data standards, precise data definitions, and detailed data dictionaries is essential for ensuring consistency, interoperability, and a shared understanding of people data across the enterprise.
  • • You will work collaboratively to define technical standards and guidelines pertaining to the use, security, access, and governance of people information. This includes clearly defining responsibilities to support data quality mandates and ensure responsible data handling.
  • • A key strategic contribution will be defining a standard common business vocabulary for people data, articulating strategic data requirements, and outlining high-level integrated designs that align with the overall enterprise strategy and business architecture. This ensures a unified approach to people data management.
  • • You will create clear diagrams illustrating key data entities and develop an inventory of the data required to realize the architecture vision, providing a roadmap for future data initiatives and investments.
