- • The Global Privacy Operations Manager at Trustly Group AB plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s privacy program operates effectively across global jurisdictions, supporting Trustly’s mission to build the world’s most disruptive payment network by safeguarding consumer and merchant data in alignment with international privacy regulations.
- • Day to day, the role involves managing privacy compliance operations, including monitoring data processing activities, supporting data subject request (DSR) handling, maintaining records of processing activities (ROPA), coordinating with legal and product teams on privacy impact assessments (PIAs), and ensuring adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy laws.
- • The Privacy Operations team sits within Trustly’s broader Trust & Safety function, working closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Security teams to embed privacy by design into the company’s Open Banking Payments infrastructure and global operations.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in global privacy regulations, gain experience scaling privacy operations in a high-growth fintech environment, and contribute to shaping Trustly’s privacy culture while advancing their career in data protection and compliance leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in privacy compliance, data protection, or related regulatory roles
- • Strong understanding of GDPR and other international privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA, LGPD)
- • Experience managing data subject requests (DSRs) and maintaining records of processing activities (ROPA)
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Legal, Product, and Engineering
- • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
- • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
