📋 Description

• As a Global Product Manager for Peptide at GenScript Biotech Corporation, you will drive the strategic development and commercialization of peptide-based products and services, directly impacting the company’s growth in the global life sciences market by aligning scientific innovation with customer needs and market opportunities.
• You will lead market research, Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives, and 5-dimension analysis (Market/Competitor/User/Internal/Technology) to identify value gaps and define compelling Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) for peptide synthesis services and products used across peptide drug development stages.
• You will define target market segments by region, modality, and customer type to inform strategic ‘Where to Play’ decisions, ensuring resources are focused on high-potential opportunities in North America, Europe, Greater China, and Asia Pacific.
• You will develop and execute product roadmaps, positioning strategies (POD), and lifecycle management plans, while tracking KPIs, closing VOC loops, and driving customer experience design and adoption strategies to ensure ‘How to Win’ success.
• You will lead cross-functional Product Squads comprising R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Business Development teams, collaborating with senior leadership to align product strategy with broader business objectives in the Tides & Delivery division.
• You will continuously review business performance, identify strategic gaps, and optimize go-to-market approaches based on data-driven insights to improve peptide portfolio competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
• You will engage directly with global customers, R&D scientists, BD teams, and senior executives to translate technical peptide capabilities into market-winning solutions, leveraging your international experience and scientific fluency.
• You will contribute to GenScript’s mission of becoming the most reliable biotech company in the world by advancing peptide-based innovations that support healthier humans and nature through cutting-edge biotechnology.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related scientific field.
• Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in product management or marketing within the peptide, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Demonstrated track record in developing and executing global market strategies, including international experience (working or studying abroad) as a requirement.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for market segmentation, competitive analysis, and customer-centric decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders including customers, R&D, BD, and senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time for customer meetings, industry conferences, and internal team alignment.
