  • • Proactively identify and engage high-potential passive candidates across tech, product, design, data, and executive verticals to build long-term talent pipelines of 80–120 active profiles, with 20–30 at advanced maturity (availability within 6 months)
  • • Define talent requirements in collaboration with the Head of Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to anticipate future skill gaps and support succession planning aligned with D,E&I principles
  • • Maintain and reactivate a durable network of past and current candidates to ensure continuous access to qualified talent
  • • Design, animate, and optimize the internal employee referral program, turning every Back Maker into a talent ambassador and tracking conversion rates by source and vertical
  • • Develop and execute Back Market’s employer brand narrative across all talent-facing channels, including LinkedIn content strategy, employee spotlights, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and a proprietary talent podcast and YouTube channel
  • • Create and distribute a recurring talent newsletter targeting passive candidate communities to strengthen brand awareness and engagement
  • • Monitor and improve Back Market’s reputation on Glassdoor and specialist forums by responding to feedback, engaging with commenters, and implementing improvements
  • • Build and animate talent communities around key hiring verticals through events, meetups, conferences, and unconventional networking spaces such as tech bootcamps, university partnerships, and professional associations
  • • Represent Back Market at industry events, executive forums, and informal gatherings to discover talent beyond traditional recruitment channels
  • • Launch and manage an internal ambassador program to empower employees to represent Back Market within their own professional networks and communities
  • • Engage with potential candidates through social media and face-to-face interactions to cultivate genuine, long-term relationships rather than transactional exchanges
  • • Map competitor hiring activity and talent movements, identifying availability signals such as fundraising, restructuring, or layoffs to inform proactive outreach strategies
  • • Maintain continuous monitoring of the tech, product, and executive talent ecosystems to stay ahead of market trends and candidate availability
  • • Master advanced sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and specialist talent communities to source rare and hard-to-find profiles
  • • Assess potential beyond CVs and job titles, demonstrating a keen eye for talent and long-term fit
  • • Communicate fluently in both French and English to engage with global talent communities and internal stakeholders
  • • Operate with a long-distance runner mindset—no monthly closing KPIs—prioritizing patience, persistence, and relationship-building over urgent requisitions
  • • Resist pressure to handle immediate hiring needs, maintaining focus on strategic, long-term talent pipeline development
  • • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by building a content and community engine from scratch, including video, podcast, and newsletter production
  • • Serve as a compelling storyteller who makes candidates want to join Back Market before a role is even posted

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of experience in senior sourcing, talent scouting, and talent marketing
  • • Proven track record of building long-term pipelines for rare, passive talent profiles
  • • Strong content creation skills in writing, storytelling, podcast production, video, and newsletter management
  • • Experience designing and managing an internal employee referral program
  • • Demonstrated community presence through events, social media, networks, and content creation
  • • Advanced mastery of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and specialist talent platforms
