- • The Global Trade Compliance Manager at Quince, Inc. is a senior individual contributor responsible for ensuring the integrity and scalability of the company’s global trade compliance program, directly supporting Quince’s mission to deliver high-quality, sustainably produced essentials at radically low prices through its DTC model.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning trade compliance data governance across the product catalog, managing end-to-end classification workflows, validating product classifications for accuracy and audit readiness, serving as a subject matter expert for complex determinations, ensuring compliance data is correctly maintained in internal systems, applying and refining classification standards, executing internal controls, conducting audits, partnering with sourcing and merchandising on tariff engineering and FTA analysis, collaborating cross-functionally with logistics, legal, operations, and technology teams, translating regulatory requirements into operational workflows, supporting system evolution, and identifying process gaps to improve compliance integrity.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global trade compliance, influence scalable compliance systems and data governance, gain cross-functional leadership experience across sourcing, merchandising, logistics, legal, and technology, and contribute directly to reducing regulatory risk and enabling Quince’s global growth while upholding its commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, or global import/export compliance
- • Strong experience supporting importer-side compliance programs, either in-house or through consulting/brokerage
- • Deep expertise in product classification across multiple product categories and jurisdictions
- • Strong knowledge of customs valuation principles and practical application in an importer environment
- • Experience analyzing Free Trade Agreement eligibility and applying origin rules in operational contexts
- • Strong understanding of U.S. importer obligations, including reasonable care, informed compliance, and audit readiness
- • Experience conducting internal audits, compliance reviews, or control testing related to trade compliance
- • Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-judgment workstreams with minimal oversight
- • Strong analytical skills and ability to work through complex datasets and regulatory scenarios
- • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational guidance
- • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across sourcing, merchandising, operations, logistics, technology, and legal
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while balancing compliance rigor with business needs
