- • Own the day-to-day workplace experience for Fluidstack’s office in San Francisco, ensuring it runs smoothly, consistently, and with a high bar for employee experience.
- • Manage all vendor relationships for the office including cleaning, catering, maintenance, and supplies, holding them to agreed standards and proactively addressing performance issues.
- • Implement and adapt Fluidstack’s shared workplace standards to the local office environment, ensuring alignment with company values and operational expectations.
- • Run a lightweight but consistent employee feedback loop to understand what’s working and what isn’t in the office environment, and act on insights to improve experience.
- • Manage the office’s operational budget with clear tracking, transparent reporting, and no unexpected overruns.
- • Be the first point of escalation for all workplace issues — from broken equipment to lunch preferences — resolving them quickly or escalating with clear context and ownership.
- • Build strong relationships with building management, local vendors, and team members to foster trust and seamless collaboration.
- • Conduct initial onboarding and audit of the office setup, including space layout, recurring issues, vendor performance, and employee sentiment.
- • Identify and deliver 3 quick wins within the first 30 days that meaningfully improve daily office experience.
- • Establish and maintain a clear operating rhythm: weekly vendor check-ins, monthly budget reviews, and quarterly planning cycles.
- • Proactively surface potential issues and propose solutions before being asked, demonstrating self-direction and high ownership.
- • Treat every request — whether a broken monitor or a new lunch option — with equal thoughtfulness, embodying a hospitality mindset focused on human experience.
- • Ensure the physical workspace is well-maintained, functional, and welcoming, paying attention to details that others overlook but impact daily comfort and productivity.
- • Support office operations during openings, buildouts, or relocations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to team workflow.
- • Leverage workplace technology such as access systems, desk booking tools, and AV equipment to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- • Foster a culture of care by anticipating needs before they arise and creating an environment where employees feel genuinely supported.
