  • • Launch Sailor Health’s first new care line from $0 to $5M in revenue within 9 months, starting as an individual contributor and transitioning into a player-coach role.
  • • Own the end-to-end P&L for new verticals, including revenue generation, gross margin, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions for scaling or discontinuing initiatives.
  • • Co-design clinical models with clinical leadership, defining care pathways, staffing ratios, protocols, and quality metrics to ensure each new vertical meets Sailor’s clinical standards before scaling.
  • • Build the operational backbone for each new care line, including patient intake, scheduling, documentation, billing, and cross-functional workflows that integrate seamlessly with Sailor’s existing core operations.
  • • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap for new verticals, combining human-led care with Sailor’s portfolio of AI subclinical agents to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency.
  • • Recruit, lead, and scale a dedicated pod per vertical (clinical lead, ops lead, growth lead) as each line reaches escape velocity, beginning with hands-on execution and evolving into team leadership.
  • • Define and track a performance scorecard for each new vertical, reporting to founders and board on key metrics including clinical outcomes, patient NPS, contribution margin, retention rates, and growth velocity.
  • • Establish and manage external partnerships critical to each vertical’s success, including contracts with payers, providers, channel partners, and vendors, while navigating regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • • Translate ambiguity into structure by creating strategic documentation, establishing operating cadences, and building decision-making artifacts that enable autonomous execution across multiple simultaneous bets.
  • • Maintain a 5-star patient experience standard aligned with Sailor’s NPS of 91, designing every touchpoint to reflect dignity, honor, and trust in the aging experience.
  • • Drive experimentation over perfection, running multiple small tests to validate assumptions before scaling, and using Build-Measure-Learn loops to rapidly iterate on product, service, and operational models.
  • • Leverage AI tools daily to increase output, optimize workflows, and enhance patient interactions — actively experimenting with platforms like Claude and Codex outside of work hours to stay at the forefront of AI application in healthcare.
  • • Be customer-obsessed, regularly engaging with senior patients to understand their needs, frustrations, and desires, and translating those insights into product and service improvements.
  • • Operate with extreme ownership and autonomy, making high-stakes decisions independently while maintaining alignment with Sailor’s mission and co-founders’ vision.
  • • Deliver exceptional results in high-intensity environments with a proven track record of being a top performer, where speed, operational rigor, and sharp judgment are non-negotiable.
  • • Contribute to building the category-defining company for happier and healthier aging in America, leveraging existing patient relationships, referral channels, and infrastructure to expand into adjacent care lines.
