- • As a Government Affairs Manager at Serve Robotics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the regulatory landscape for autonomous delivery robots, enabling the company to expand its innovative sidewalk delivery service into new markets across the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing government affairs strategies, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholder engagement at community meetings and regulatory hearings, monitoring regulatory sentiment, building relationships with elected officials and industry coalitions, maintaining an internal government affairs database, representing Serve Robotics at public forums, producing written and oral communications for public dissemination, and providing regular reports to senior management on key performance indicators and team activities.
- • You will join a team of tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design who are collaboratively building the future of urban logistics through robotics, machine learning, and computer vision, with a strong commitment to solving real-world problems in a diverse, agile, and respectful environment.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in government relations within the emerging tech and micromobility sectors, drive measurable impact on market expansion efforts, influence policy outcomes that support innovation, and grow as a strategic leader in public affairs while working cross-functionally with engineering, product, legal, and business teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ Years of experience in government relations, public policy, political organizing, legislative staffing, public affairs, or related field
- • 2+ Years of experience working with policymakers across different political parties
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- • Experience managing consulting teams and lobbyists
- • Strong writing and presentation skills including preparing briefing documents, analyses, policy and legislative recommendations
- • Ability to travel 40% of the time
