- • Analyze fraud patterns and develop strategies to reduce fraud losses across Lendable’s UK Cards portfolio while maintaining a seamless customer experience.
- • Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights that drive fraud prevention decisions.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and risk to implement data-driven fraud strategies into live systems.
- • Monitor the performance of deployed fraud controls and continuously identify new opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
- • Automate routine reporting and intelligence sharing processes to improve efficiency and enable faster decision-making for stakeholders.
- • Translate complex data findings into clear, business-focused recommendations that align with commercial objectives and customer journey goals.
- • Contribute to the evolution of fraud strategy as new product lines and market conditions emerge, ensuring proactive rather than reactive responses.
- • Work in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where decisions directly impact business outcomes and customer trust.

- • Work closely with data science and engineering teams to integrate machine learning models and new data sources into fraud detection workflows.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by seeking feedback, refining approaches, and sharing knowledge across the team.
- • Operate within a hybrid work model requiring three days per week in the London office, with opportunities for in-person social events and off-sites.
- • Leverage internal tools and data pipelines built in-house to generate real-time intelligence on fraudulent activity and customer behavior.
- • Help scale fraud prevention capabilities as Lendable expands into new markets, starting with the UK and preparing for entry into the US.
- • Deliver measurable improvements in fraud detection accuracy, reduction in false positives, and overall portfolio profitability.
- • Participate in regular team meetings, strategy reviews, and ad-hoc problem-solving sessions to align fraud initiatives with company-wide goals.
- • Maintain strict data governance and compliance standards while conducting analyses on sensitive customer financial information.
- • Contribute to a data-first culture where decisions are grounded in evidence, experimentation, and iterative testing.
