Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Qualify and route inbound leads through two channels: self-service and inside sales, ensuring accurate lead progression within the sales funnel.
  • Engage prospects daily via phone calls, emails, live chat, and internal tools including Slack and Salesforce to build rapport and gather qualification criteria.
  • Measure success by the number of product demonstrations booked and completed, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly performance targets.
  • Utilize structured processes and integrated systems to eliminate manual work and enable fast, high-quality decision-making in a high-velocity environment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, marketing, and customer success teams to align on customer needs and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring all lead interactions are documented for reporting and pipeline visibility.
  • Learn and apply SaaS-specific metrics, terminology, and financial acronyms to effectively communicate value and understand sales performance indicators.
  • Adapt quickly to the construction, infrastructure, and industrial industries, mastering new terminology and customer pain points despite limited prior exposure.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly All-Hands sessions, and ‘Life Story’ sessions to foster transparency, connection, and cultural alignment across the global team.
  • Leverage provided onboarding materials, call scripts, and email templates to rapidly develop proficiency in outbound communication and objection handling.
  • Operate with autonomy and outcome-based accountability—no time monitoring or unnecessary meetings; focus is on results, not hours worked.
  • Contribute to a culture of transparency by accessing key company metrics, financial performance data, and hiring plans shared openly in company-wide forums.
  • Embrace a performance-driven culture where seven of the last ten pay increases were proactive, awarded based on results rather than tenure or requests.
  • Work in a hybrid or remote environment with flexibility to work from anywhere for several weeks per year, supported by a laptop and home office setup budget.
  • Participate in weekly catered lunches, global offsites, and community-building events designed to strengthen team connection and belonging.
  • Utilize Sydney HQ amenities including a rooftop garden, wellness centre, showers, and cycle storage when working on-site in Haymarket.
  • Receive ongoing professional development support through a dedicated learning and development budget and transparent career progression plans.
  • Engage with an inclusive, diverse team spanning 18+ countries, with 55% of employees from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds and 43% identifying as female.

🎯 Requirements

  • Confident and clear communication skills, with excellent writing and presentation abilities across email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person interactions.
  • Excellent task organization and prioritization skills, capable of efficiently managing multiple high-volume tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the construction and industrial industries, including unfamiliar terminology and non-tech-savvy users.
  • Resilience to handle frequent rejection and maintain high performance in a KPI-driven, quota-based environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-agency culture with minimal supervision and a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), live chat platforms, and digital meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams) is preferred.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive, performance-based remuneration with OTE of A$75,000–A$110,000 (incl. Super), including base salary of A$50,000–A$70,000 and commission of A$25,000–A$40,000.
  • Equity options to own a piece of the company you help build.
  • 20 days paid annual leave, plus sick, carer’s, and compassionate leave; 16 weeks primary and 6 weeks secondary parental leave (including adoption and stillbirth support).
  • Laptop and home office setup budget, flexible remote/hybrid work options, and ability to work from anywhere for several weeks annually.
  • Learning & development budget and transparent career development plans.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing confidential counseling, mental health support, and life resources.
