📋 Description

• • As a GRC Program Manager at OpenAI, you will play a pivotal role in achieving US government Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and Department of War (DoW) for OpenAI products, ensuring mission-critical systems meet stringent security requirements for high-impact public sector customers.
• • You will drive the ATO process for FedRAMP and multiple government clients in restricted environments with minimal oversight, collaborate with engineering teams to interpret security requirements and implement compliant controls, create technically accurate documentation including System Security Plans and risk assessments, and act as a subject matter expert during audits and assessments.
• • The GRC team at OpenAI is foundational to delivering secure mission outcomes, providing security and engineering expertise to meet critical customer requirements while maintaining a collaborative, execution-driven culture focused on obtaining, expanding, and maintaining Authorizations to Operate for critical systems.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in US government security frameworks, refine compliance processes for efficiency and quality, and gain experience navigating complex, high-stakes regulatory environments while working with cutting-edge AI technologies deployed in secure, regulated settings.
