- • Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Dex, Juniper Square’s AI-native data warehouse, serving as both an external product and the internal data backbone for fund administration operations.
- • Define how Dex transforms fragmented, document-heavy private markets data into a clean, structured, and trustworthy foundation by ingesting, parsing, classifying, extracting, mapping, enriching, and validating data from dozens of source systems.
- • Lead end-to-end product delivery from discovery through deployment, including planning projects, defining requirements, and motivating engineering and design teams with clear context on the "why" and "what" to inspire ownership of the "how."
- • Engage directly with general partners (GPs) and internal fund administration teams to gather customer insights, challenge assumptions, and refine strategic direction based on real-world data needs.
- • Drive AI-powered capabilities across the data pipeline, including agentic document ingestion, automated classification and extraction, intelligent mapping and enrichment, human-in-the-loop review, search and retrieval, and AI-driven data insights.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, fund administration, customer success, sales, and executive stakeholders to align on strategy and ensure execution supports both customer outcomes and internal operational needs.
- • Set product direction across multiple engineering teams and workstreams, providing mentorship and leadership to other product managers within and adjacent to the data domain.
- • Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to prototype solutions, synthesize customer feedback into hypotheses, and accelerate workflows—using AI to build faster and make sharper decisions than traditional PM methods allow.
- • Simplify extreme complexity inherent in private markets data: inconsistent formats, unstructured documents, complex fund structures, and zero-tolerance requirements for accuracy due to downstream dependencies.
- • Partner with go-to-market and fund administration teams to drive adoption of new Dex capabilities and ensure measurable business value is realized by customers and internal users.
- • Establish and maintain rigorous evaluation and monitoring discipline for production LLM features and agentic workflows to ensure reliability, quality, and scalability.
- • Shape the future of private markets technology by building a data foundation that powers Juniper Square’s AI agents, external products, and managed services at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of product management experience in B2B or Enterprise SaaS with a significant portfolio of shipped work across the full development lifecycle.
- • Proven experience owning a complex product area end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap through execution and iteration, ideally in a zero-to-one context.
- • Background in data warehousing, data modeling, document ingestion and extraction, ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality and validation.
- • Experience building agentic workflows or production LLM features with real evaluation and monitoring discipline.
- • Fluency with LLMs and common AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to run prototypes and accelerate workflows beyond traditional PM methods.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate product decisions clearly to engineers, designers, executives, and customers.
