Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full commercial funnel for Amidon’s unmanned subsea inspection services across offshore energy and submarine cable markets. You will source, qualify, and convert prospects into multi-year inspection contracts, moving them from first call to signed pilot and beyond.
- • Map and penetrate the decision-making networks inside super-majors, independents, telecom cable consortia, EPCs, and specialty contractors on four continents. Build a living org-chart of champions, technical buyers, and economic buyers so that every conversation advances the deal.
- • Translate complex autonomy, robotics, and data-delivery capabilities into crisp ROI narratives that resonate with offshore OPEX managers, integrity engineers, and submarine cable asset owners. Develop pitch decks, economic models, and pilot scopes that make the value of “crewless” obvious.
- • Design and execute a repeatable go-to-market engine. Build playbooks, battle-cards, and CRM workflows (HubSpot/Notion) that let us scale from founder-led sales to a high-velocity commercial team without losing the personal touch our customers expect.
- • Scope and negotiate pilot programs that de-risk adoption for customers while proving Amidon’s performance. Define KPIs, deliverables, and pricing that convert pilots into long-term master service agreements and recurring revenue.
- • Represent Amidon at OTC, Subsea Expo, PTC, Offshore Technology Days, and regional operator forums. Own the booth, deliver technical talks, and turn hallway conversations into pipeline opportunities.
- • Feed the product roadmap with unfiltered customer insight. Translate field pain points into engineering tickets that improve vessel uptime, data quality, and UX for offshore supervisors.
- • Collaborate daily with the Head of Growth, CEO, and engineering leads to prioritize markets, refine pricing, and allocate scarce resources. You will be the voice of the customer in every sprint-planning and board meeting.
- • Travel up to 30 %—from Aberdeen to Perth, from Rio to Singapore—building trust over late-night dinners and early-morning vessel tours. When on the road you will document every interaction so the wider team can follow the thread.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation. A/B test outreach sequences, iterate on demo scripts, and share wins and failures openly so the entire company learns faster than our competitors.
- • Build a personal brand as a thought-leader in subsea robotics. Publish LinkedIn posts, speak on panels, and co-author white papers that position Amidon as the category-defining company for autonomous offshore inspection.
- • Within 12 months you will have closed at least three six-figure pilots and laid the groundwork for a multi-million-dollar annual contract. Your network will be the foundation on which Amidon scales from startup to scale-up.
