  • • As a Growth Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of the Research, Analytics & Data Science (RAD) team. This team comprises talented data scientists and researchers dedicated to partnering with product teams. Your primary focus will be to meticulously measure and understand the impact of product initiatives, identify emerging opportunities, and quantify their potential for product enhancement. If you thrive on asking insightful questions, uncovering patterns within complex datasets, and advocating for data-driven decisions, this role offers an exciting platform for your expertise.
  • • This specific role is dedicated to our Growth team, where you will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams. Your strategic focus will be on optimizing our trial experience and pricing strategies. The ultimate goal is to drive improvements in trial activation rates, directly contributing to Intercom’s overall commercial performance and growth trajectory.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of analytical and strategic tasks. You will proactively identify key opportunities to enhance our trial experience and refine our pricing models. This will involve a deep dive into our user funnel, a thorough analysis of customer feedback to understand user pain points and desires, and a comprehensive study of competitor products to benchmark our offerings and identify areas for differentiation.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be to develop and implement robust measurement frameworks. You will define and track key success metrics to accurately assess the impact of any changes made to our trial experience and pricing. This data-driven approach will ensure that all initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • • Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science toolkit and infrastructure. This includes enhancing the tools and platforms that data scientists use, aiming to increase efficiency, scalability, and analytical capabilities across the team. Your contributions will help empower the entire RAD team to achieve greater insights and impact.
  • • You will be instrumental in translating complex data findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations for stakeholders across product, engineering, and marketing. This involves not only performing rigorous analysis but also effectively communicating your findings to drive strategic decision-making and foster a culture of data-informed innovation.
