- • As a Growth Manager at LemFi, you will be at the forefront of our expansion within African communities in the United States, playing a pivotal role in launching new markets, driving user acquisition, and cultivating robust community and partnership networks essential for sustainable growth. This position is critical to LemFi's mission of building a financial ecosystem that empowers immigrants, enabling them to stay connected to home, achieve financial stability, and build wealth, regardless of their origin or current location. You will be instrumental in transforming the financial landscape for millions by ensuring access to fast, affordable remittances, multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth opportunities.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and hands-on, involving extensive travel across the USA to represent LemFi at various events, expos, and community meetings. You will act as a brand ambassador, driving brand awareness and directly signing up new users. A significant part of your role will be dedicated to building and expanding LemFi’s community network by actively networking with local leaders, partners, and organizations. This includes setting up meetings and securing sponsorship opportunities for existing community events, fostering strong relationships that are key to our growth strategy. You will be expected to spend 3–5 days in a new U.S. city every 2–3 weeks to establish an on-the-ground presence, nurture relationships, and significantly enhance LemFi’s visibility within local communities. This travel component offers a unique opportunity to experience the breadth of the country while making a tangible impact.
- • You will be tasked with developing and executing comprehensive user acquisition strategies specifically tailored to the Kenyan ex-pat communities residing in the US. This involves owning the growth targets for your assigned markets, consistently delivering measurable results through both online and offline channels. A key aspect of this will be the continuous optimization of campaigns, leveraging data and insights to improve performance against key acquisition Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Furthermore, you will lead community-driven initiatives designed to build trust, increase awareness, and foster advocacy for LemFi. This includes organizing and actively participating in local events, meetups, and forums to educate potential and existing users about LemFi’s comprehensive suite of services. Building and maintaining strong, reliable relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners will be paramount to your success.
- • In addition to direct user acquisition and community engagement, you will play a crucial role in partnership development. This involves identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses that can accelerate user growth and expand our reach. You will ensure that these partnerships are mutually beneficial and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with LemFi’s growth objectives. To inform these strategies and ensure our offerings resonate locally, you will conduct ongoing market research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences. The insights gathered will be vital in providing actionable recommendations to our Product and Marketing teams, helping them refine messaging, features, and overall positioning. You will serve as a strong internal advocate for the user, consistently representing community perspectives in strategic decision-making processes, ensuring that LemFi remains user-centric as we scale.

You will promote LemFi through clear, persuasive communication across multiple channels, both online and offline. This role demands an entrepreneurial and tenacious spirit, where you take ownership, push through obstacles, and consistently find ways to achieve success. You will be results-oriented, motivated by ambitious targets, and comfortable being measured against clear KPIs. A data-driven approach is essential, using insights and analysis to guide decisions and optimize performance. Cultural fluency is key, requiring you to be comfortable immersing yourself in new cultural environments and engaging deeply with diverse communities. Excellent persuasive communication skills are necessary to influence stakeholders and partners effectively. Finally, you must be flexible and committed, willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends to support market growth initiatives.
