📋 Description

• The Growth Marketing Director drives sustainable revenue growth through data‑driven acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies across Cengage, building and scaling a high‑impact growth engine to acquire and convert customers at scale.
• Day to day, the role involves developing and implementing comprehensive growth strategies, leading multi‑channel acquisition efforts (paid media, SEO, content, partnerships, ABM), building lifecycle marketing programs (onboarding, engagement, upsell, retention), establishing experimentation cultures (A/B testing, cohort analysis), and partnering cross‑functionally with Portfolio, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams while leading agencies and external partners.
• The team operates within Cengage Learning Holdings II, Inc., a global education technology company, where marketing collaborates closely with product, sales, and analytics to accelerate customer and revenue growth in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• In this role, the person can learn to scale growth initiatives across B2B and B2C markets, deepen expertise in marketing automation and analytics tools, shape attribution models and performance reporting, and develop leadership in cross‑functional partner management while driving measurable impact on revenue, user acquisition, and pipeline growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing
• Proven track record of driving measurable growth in revenue, users, or pipeline
• Deep expertise in paid acquisition channels (Google, Meta, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset with hands‑on experience using data to inform decisions
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and marketing technology stacks
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and partner management skills
